We produce different cables for CNC machinery, switch boxes, control cabinets and electrical assemblies. Our product range stretches from single core and multi-core cables through to EMC-shielded cables, all of which can be fitted with a wide selection of crimp contacts, connectors and housings.

Mini Motor srl, Italy

The customer

Mini Motor srl is specialized in the production of fractional power gear motors for many industrial applications. By combining compact dimensions and top quality, Mini Motor designs gear motors that have reached a perfect balance between reliability and power to be able to operate better even in the harshest working conditions.

The application

The Lapp harnessing solution is used for applications in the field of power transmission. We help our customer Mini Motor building applications with reliable connectivity solutions in the field of aerospace, aeronautics, naval/ biomedical sectors and research laboratories.

The solution

As part of the power transmission Lapp Application Engineers designed a cable assembly solution with ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 809 CY, SKINTOP® MS-SC and SKINDICHT® fitting. The series production with a volume of 5,000 pcs/year comes with a test report, label for material traceability and customer individual packaging.

The customer

The EMAG group supplies machinery and production systems for processing precise metal parts with the aid of a variety of production technologies. Whether it is lathes, grinders, gear-cutting machinery, laser-welding machinery, heating and joining machinery, inductive hardening machinery or machinery for electrochemical metal processing – the EMAG group offers the optimum production solution for almost every application.

The application

EMAG produces machines, which place high demands on the cables due to high automation level. Essential factors are the guarantee of very good electromagnetic shielding as well as minimal movement wear. Complex manufacturing systems are more susceptible to EMC disturbances, therefore prevention is a must.

The solution

Our ready-made servo assemblies are delivered just-in-time to EMAG and added to the installation. We are able to ensure a consistently high standard of quality due to the partly automated manufacturing process. EMAG additionally profits from reduction of storage costs and safeguarding of delivery capability.

TOSHULIN, Czech Republic

The customer

TOSHULIN is specialized in designing and manufacturing of high quality machine tools, especially vertical lathes. These are offered with table diameters ranging from 800 mm up to 6000 mm and equipped with top quality electronic components, which guarantee high performance, reliability and accuracy at machining.

The application

The Lapp dragchain assemblies are used to supply all moveable axis of drilling machines. The special requirements are minimum space and, due to more complex automation processes, increasing number of needed cables in the dragchain.

The solution

Lapp application engineers reviewed existing dragchain solution and redesigned nylon and steel chains more effective with our SILVYN® CHAIN portfolio, including FD cables and hydraulic hoses. Our assembled dragchains are delivered with drawings, cable layouts and system warranty. TOSHULIN confirmed cost savings due to logistics and warehouse optimization, reduced cut loss and assembly time.
